English Drama
Welcome to English Drama Club! 🎭✨
English Drama kicked off with an amazing performance at the start of the year called, “Dreams” ☁️. It was held on the 10th of April during “Sights and Sounds” 👀✨, which consisted of other performing arts CCA’s. Our play was directed by our instructors, Ms Sonia and Ms Kimberely. The journey was challenging, with moments of pressure, exhaustion and frustration. However, despite all those difficulties, we managed to push through these moments together. It helped us to create new friendships and bonds with people in our CCA through supporting one another and helping each other with our mistakes. The play turned out to be remarkable, delivering meaningful lessons and compassion. This production holds a special place in our hearts as it taught our members how to go through difficulties and how to overcome the challenges that we face. However, this was the secondary 4’s last show, and the last time performing together before bidding farewell to them. While it was such a bittersweet moment, it was also a heartwarming one, filled with cherished memories. We wish them all the best for their wonderful journey that lies ahead, and hope they achieve happiness and success in everything they wished for in their life.
While we bid farewell to our graduating members, a new chapter has just begun for the Drama Club. We are working and training hard to prepare ourselves for the upcoming Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) competition that will take place next year, 2027. During CCA sessions, we dedicate many hours to improve our acting skills, teamwork, and growth. With the help of our instructor we managed to receive professional training and gain a deeper understanding of drama and stage performances.

Leadership Development:
Our executive committee (EXCO) plays a huge role in shaping the direction of the club. They enhance their leadership skills by managing the daily CCA sessions and also for the upcoming events and productions. They ensure that tasks are fairly distributed among all members of the CCA. They are always ready to help teachers, instructors and also students. Not only that, they also take responsibility in the discipline of the members in our CCA and ensuring that the members have constant respect, care and appreciation towards the CCA, teachers, instructors and towards their fellow members too.
