Procedures

Students who have taken the PSLE are posted to schools via MOE's Secondary 1 Posting Exercise. School admissions are based on merit and choices of secondary schools made by the individual student. Please access the MOE website for further information and procedures.

Parents/Guardians whose child/ward has been posted to our school can visit our Secondary 1 Posting microsite to access the essential information that will aid you and your child/ward in preparing for the upcoming journey with us.

Appeals

Admissions through the appeal exercise will be based on objective and transparent measures of academic merit, i.e. PSLE results. Students are required to meet Xinmin Secondary School’s Cut-Off Point before they can be considered for the transfer.

For appeals for school transfer to Xinmin Secondary after Secondary 1 Posting Exercise, please complete the Secondary 1 Appeal Form and submit it by Friday, 26 December 2025, 12:00 p.m.. Late applications will not be considered. As vacancies are limited, only successful candidates will be notified by the school.
