2027 MOE Financial Assistance Scheme

Information about MOE Financial Assistance Scheme

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Singapore Citizens who require financial assistance for school fees and other schooling expenses may apply for the MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS), subject to the income eligibility criteria below.

Important Notes

  • Only Singapore citizen students are eligible.

  • Apply early to receive free textbooks and uniforms before school starts on 4 January 2027.

  • Please do not purchase textbooks or uniforms if you are applying for FAS, as reimbursement will not be available.

How to Apply

Parents/Guardians may apply for 2027 MOE FAS via the Student Finance System (SFS) e-Services portal using Singpass, through:

Parents/Guardians only need to submit one application form even if the children are studying in different government and government-aided schools, independent schools, specialised schools, and specialised independent schools (NUS High School of Mathematics and Science, and School of Science and Technology). The outcome of the application will be available in the SFS e-Services portal.

MOE FAS Approved by primary/sibling’s schools / 2027 Secondary 1

For MOE FAS applications approved by respective primary schools, or their siblings’ schools, please click the below link or scan the QR code to submit the approval letter for our processing.

School-based FAS

Singapore citizen students who do not meet the eligibility criteria for MOE FAS may also apply for School-based FAS via the MOE FAS application process. Approval will be granted on a case-by-case basis.
